Headlight Tint Film

Give your headlights a custom look with self-adhesive tint film. Choose standard tint for a light, dark or matte smoke or a bold colour, chameleon film that shifts colour as you move around the car, or laser honeycomb film with a holographic honeycomb pattern. All three work on tail lights and fog lights too, and peel off when you want a change.

Standard tint comes as a 30 x 60cm sheet in 13 colours. Chameleon film comes in 30 x 100cm or 30 x 200cm in 10 colours, and laser honeycomb comes in 30 x 100cm, 30 x 200cm or 30 x 300cm in 12 colours. Each one is flexible PVC that stretches around curved lenses when warmed and cuts easily to the shape of your lights.

Colour Guide

• Light Smoke: A subtle tint that darkens the lens slightly
• Dark Smoke: A deep smoked tint for a blacked-out look
• Matte Smoke: A dark smoked tint with a matte finish, in standard film only
• Red, Orange, Yellow, Gold, Green, Purple and Pink: Bold, see-through colours for a standout look
• Fluorescent Yellow: A bright neon yellow with a hint of green
• Light Blue and Dark Blue: A soft blue tint, or a strong, vivid blue

How Much You'll Need

• 30 x 60cm: Covers one lens up to about 55 x 25cm, or two smaller lenses up to about 25 x 25cm each
• 30 x 100cm: Covers a pair of lenses up to about 45 x 25cm each
• 30 x 200cm and 30 x 300cm: For larger lights, headlights and tail lights together, or more than one car
• Measure First: Allow a few centimetres extra around each lens so there's film to hold, stretch and trim

Installation Tips

• Clean: Wash and dry the lens, then wipe it with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax, dirt and oils
• Cut: Cut a piece a few centimetres bigger than the lens all round
• Position: A light mist of water on the lens lets you slide the film into place before you squeegee it down
• Heat: Warm the film with a hair dryer or heat gun so it stretches around the curves without wrinkles
• Smooth: Work from the centre outwards with a soft squeegee to push out any bubbles
• Trim: Trim the excess carefully around the edge of the lens, without cutting into the lens itself
• Cure: Don't wash the car for 24 hours after fitting

Tint film reduces light output, and coloured or dark tints on headlights may not be legal for road use. Please check your local road rules before fitting. No tools or instructions are included. If you haven't fitted tint film before, professional fitting is recommended. Colours can look slightly different on screen than in person, and the chameleon and holographic effects change with the light and viewing angle. EnlightWorks does not provide installation services for tint film. The film is supplied for customer or installer fitting.
