Description

Keep your headlight lenses looking new with this clear, self-healing TPU protection film. It shields the lens from stone chips, light scratches and UV, the main causes of hazy, yellowed and pitted headlights, while staying clear so your headlights look and shine as they should.

The flexible TPU stretches around curved lenses when warmed, and light swirls and scratches in the top coat fade away with heat. It's self-adhesive, peels off cleanly without residue, and comes 30cm wide in 1m, 2m or 3m lengths. Ideal for protecting new or freshly replaced lenses, or as a finishing touch on a headlight build.

Choosing a Size

  • 30 x 100cm: Enough for a pair of smaller headlights
  • 30 x 200cm: Suits a pair of larger headlights, with film to spare
  • 30 x 300cm: For large headlights plus fog lights, or more than one car
  • Measure First: Each piece needs to be a few centimetres bigger than the lens all round, so the 30cm width suits lenses up to about 25cm tall

Installation Tips

  • Clean: Wipe the lens with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax, dirt and oils
  • Heat: Warm the film with a heat gun so it stretches around the curves without wrinkles
  • Smooth: Work from the centre outwards with a soft squeegee to push out any bubbles
  • Trim: Trim the excess carefully around the edge of the lens, without cutting into the lens itself
  • Cure: Keep the car out of strong sun for 24 hours and don't wash it for 48 hours

No tools or instructions are included. If you haven't fitted protection film before, professional fitting is recommended.

Warranty

If something goes wrong, email support@enlightworks.co.nz with your order number, a short description of the fault, and photos or a video, and we'll work through the claim with you.

Most claims can be sorted from photos or video, so you usually won't need to send the item back. Where the fault is clear, we'll send a replacement at no cost, or refund you if a replacement isn't practical.

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is free on all New Zealand orders, with no minimum spend.

We don't hold stock locally. Your order is dispatched directly from our supplier, which is how we bring in hard-to-find parts at fair prices.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 working days, and most arrive within 2 to 3 weeks of ordering. If your order includes items from different suppliers, they'll arrive in separate parcels.

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships, and you can follow it on our Track Your Order page.

Exchanges and Returns

We don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, so please check sizing and fitment before you order. If you're not sure what suits your car, get in touch first and we'll help.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, email support@enlightworks.co.nz within 30 days of receiving it, with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a video.

Most of our products ship from overseas suppliers, so we usually won't need the item sent back. Depending on the issue, we'll send a replacement at no cost, arrange a repair, or refund you. Please don't send anything back without contacting us first.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 business days. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 are not affected. Read our full return and refund policy
