Where are you based?
West Auckland, New Zealand. We're a home-based workshop, so there's no shopfront, but headlights can be dropped off for fitting by arrangement.
Do you have a shop?
Not a walk-in retail shop. Products are sold through this website, and fitting work is done at our West Auckland workshop.
How long have you been doing this?
Since 2019, with 100+ custom builds completed.
Products
What products do you offer?
We offer two ranges: an affordable range of no-brand parts for budget builds, and a premium range from brands we're authorised to sell.
Which brands are you authorised to sell?
XKGLOW, Diode Dynamics, RGBHaloKits, iilumo, Oracle Lighting and Lighting Trendz, plus Morimoto, Profile, XenonDepot, Headlight Revolution and GTR Lighting through The Retrofit Source.
What is the difference between the affordable and premium ranges?
The affordable range suits budget builds and ships from our suppliers in China. The premium range offers higher build quality and reliability, usually with longer manufacturer warranties, and ships from the United States, either from the brand or through our authorised distributor.
Do you keep stock on hand?
No. Most products are dispatched directly from our suppliers, which is why delivery takes a little longer than buying off a local shelf. Occasionally we have limited stock or pre-built headlight sets available, and these ship from our West Auckland workshop.
Do you sell complete custom headlights?
Yes. Pre-built sets are listed in our Headlights collection when available, and we also build custom headlights to order.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Add products to your cart and check out on our website. If you're not sure what suits your car, or you'd like a custom build, send us a message with your vehicle details and we'll recommend suitable options.
Do you offer Afterpay?
Yes. We accept Afterpay as well as credit and debit cards.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 working days, then take 5 to 14 working days to arrive depending on the range, so most orders arrive within 2 to 3 weeks. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all New Zealand orders, with no minimum spend.
Do you ship within New Zealand?
Yes, nationwide. We currently ship to New Zealand only.
Warranty and Returns
Do your products come with a warranty?
The warranty for each product is listed on its product page. Premium brands are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, typically 1 to 3 years. If something goes wrong, contact us and we'll work through the claim with you. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 always apply.
Can I return or exchange products?
We don't accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or significantly different from its description, contact us within 30 days and we'll arrange a replacement, repair or refund in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act. See our Refund Policy for details.
Fitting and Installation
Do you offer installation?
Yes, for headlight products. We fit halos, demon eyes, LED strips, projectors, bulbs and lenses as a bench service: courier your headlights to us or drop them off at our West Auckland workshop by arrangement, and we'll fit, test and reseal them before they go back to you. We don't remove or refit headlights on the car.
Which products are DIY only?
Starlights, interior lights, underglows, rock lights, wheel lights and whip lights are sold as DIY kits, and installation isn't included.
