Description
The iiMD2S is iilumo's compact 2.5" bi-xenon projector for D2S HID bulbs, and the best performer iilumo has found at this size. It has a clear Kuria Optics glass lens and a right-hand drive cut-off made for driving on the left.
It shares the iiMH1's footprint and mounting points with a larger 35mm threaded shaft, so it mounts to reflector headlights with the shaft and lock nut, or to iiMH1 pattern retrofit brackets. The cut-off stays flat right out to the edges for good width and plenty of colour. Sold as a pair with mounting hardware and backed by iilumo's 3-year warranty.
Features & Benefits
RHD Beam Pattern for NZ Roads
Right-hand drive cut-off shield for driving on the left.
Bi-Xenon Low & High Beam
One projector and one HID bulb handle both beams.
Kuria Optics Clear Glass Lens
Clear glass for a sharp cut-off with strong colour.
Wide, Flat Cut-Off
The cut-off line doesn't drop away at the edges, so the beam stays wide.
Compact 2.5" Size
Same footprint as the iiMH1, so it suits smaller housings.
Easy Mounting
35mm threaded shaft with lock nut, plus H4 and H7 adapter plates in the hardware pack.
Shroud Compatible
Mini shrouds fit directly, and full-size shrouds fit with centric rings.
3-Year Warranty
Backed by iilumo.
These run D2S or D2H HID bulbs on 35 to 55W ballasts, sold separately. Our Morimoto XB35 2.0 ballasts in the D2S version and our D2S HID bulbs suit them.
